May I kindly clarify any queries re Open Day this year. As per memo sent, parents need to pre-book sessions and send the filled in form by not later than tomorrow Wed. 27th April.
Our session in Jr 2A, Once upon a time……. happily ever after – writing activity, would be a great opportunity for you parents to sit with your child and understand better how such lessons are carried out in class.
For this reason, if you are interested in attending kindly fill in the form : 2 nd lesson 1st preference.
You can also opt to book a lesson in Jr 3 as a taster for next year.

Holy Communion
Very soon, we will be celebrating Holy Communion at Hniena Divina Church in San Pawl tat-Targa. For this reason we, Junior 2 teaching staff will be discussing and planning for this activity this Thursday right after school.
We are fully aware of Ms Sue’s suggestions and plans for this day, but we are very flexible in this matter and we would really like to have your feedback.
Following my discussion with Zak’s mum, I suggested that you come together and write a couple of ideas/suggestions, which I can put forward during our meeting on Thursday.
So go ahead, discuss and let us know about any suggestions/ideas.

Uniform Update
Kindly be informed that as from tomorrow the children can wear their summer red polo shirt and cardigan on top.
I do suggest that children start wearing lighter clothes and any polonecks and thick vests are to be replaced by lighter cotton undergarment.

Welcome Back!!… Catechism and Skander’s Birthday
Dear Parents,
First of all, I would like to welcome you back and I hope you managed to rest and spend some quality time with family and friends.
Kindly note that tomorrow there will be a replacement Catechism lesson, therefore children in question are to stay for their after school lesson.

Pre-Junior and Junior 2A joint Activity
Imagine this……. around 60 students in our classroom all paired up, Junior2/Pre-Junior, 6 teaching staff…. everyone working in perfect harmony and BELIEVE ME…….in hushed voices!!! This is what I call a perfect day at work.
It was such a lovely experience, one to remember for a long time.
Now enjoy our experience….

For the benefit of all the children who were not in class today, attached please find today’s HW:
English: The Oak Tree on scrapbook with reference to Collins Primary Book.
Maltese: New Dettatura – In-Natura + Aghzel 5 kelmiet u ikteb sentenzi fuq il-pitazz.
Library Books: Both English and Maltese library bks were given out. Any children who did not return their library bks. are to do so by Monday. Others who were absent, kindly collect your bks from the Art table.

Good afternoon
As you might have noticed today, I couldn’t make it to class…. been sick all week…. hopefully, tomorrow I’ll be back to finish off this short week with my little ones.
Today’s lessons were carried out as planned, with the introduction of the new letter sound ‘wh’ + pick 5 words and write sentences. Maltese, tahrig, ‘It-Telefown’, to finish off work at home.
I am sure the children were very well cared for by my colleagues 🙂
